Frequently asked questions
Is my document uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDF and your signature stay in your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
Is this signature legally valid?
It is a visual signature, like a signed and scanned page, which is enough for many everyday documents. It is not a certified or qualified electronic signature, which some contracts and official procedures require.
Can I sign several pages?
Yes. Go to each page and select Place on this page; you can place your signature or initials as many times as needed.
Can my signature be removed from the file?
The signature becomes part of the page content, like ink on paper. It can’t be moved by simply clicking on it in a PDF reader.
Is my signature saved anywhere?
No. It exists only while this page is open and is forgotten as soon as you close it.
