In short
The site stores only what it strictly needs to work, or what remembers a choice you made. No analytics cookies, no advertising, no social media trackers, no third-party cookies.
Under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the guidelines of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, these uses are exempt from consent. That is why the site shows no cookie banner.
Cookies
Cookies of the site itself are set only when you use your account (the sign-in and sign-up pages, then your dashboard). Apart from the technical cookies described below, a visitor who only uses the tools receives none.

Both cookies are first-party, unreadable by scripts (HttpOnly), sent only over secure connections, and not sent with requests that other sites make in the background (SameSite=Lax). Signing out ends the session on our server and deletes the sign-in indicator.
OVH SAS, which hosts the site, also sets its own technical cookie, SERVERID, on every page, even for visitors who only use the tools: it sends your requests to the same server for as long as your visit lasts (load balancing). It contains only an identifier of that server, nothing about you, and is deleted when you close your browser. Being strictly necessary for the site to work, it is exempt from consent.
Storage in your browser
Some tools remember a setting in your browser’s local storage. This data never leaves your device: it is not sent to our server.

Tools that need a large model keep it in your browser’s cache after the first download, so you don’t download it again: audio transcription and subtitle generation (Cache Storage), and text recognition for PDFs (IndexedDB). These files come from our server and contain nothing about you.
Staying in control
You can delete cookies and site data at any time from your browser settings. The site keeps working: you will just need to sign in again, and the tools will forget your settings.
