Content
Typed without https://? It’s added for you.
Include the country code (for example +44) so it works from abroad.
Tip: in most map apps, a long press on a place shows its coordinates.
Style
The blank border scanners need around the code. Keep at least 2; 4 is the standard.
Preview
Your QR code appears here as soon as you add content.
Test it before you print: point your phone’s camera at the screen.

How it works
-
Choose the content
Pick a link, text, email, phone number, SMS or map location, then fill in the fields. The preview updates as you type.
-
Make it yours
Change the colors, the shape of the modules and corners, add your logo. A warning appears if a choice could make the code hard to scan.
-
Test and download
Scan the preview with your phone’s camera, then download a PNG for screens and documents or an SVG for print at any size.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The content is written directly into the pattern, so the code works for as long as it can be scanned, with no account and no subscription. The flip side: it can’t be edited after printing. To change a link later, you’ll need a dynamic QR code; that feature is coming with a free account.
Is my content uploaded anywhere?
No. The code and your logo are generated in your browser. Nothing you type or add is sent to a server, so it also works for private links or contact details.
What is error correction, and which level should I pick?
QR codes repeat part of their data so they still scan when a portion is dirty, damaged or hidden. L recovers about 7%, M 15%, Q 25% and H 30%. M suits most uses. When you add a logo, the level switches to H automatically because the logo covers part of the code.
PNG or SVG: which format should I download?
PNG is an image that works everywhere: documents, slides, websites, messaging apps. Choose 2048 px for large prints. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, ideal for posters, packaging and design software.
Why doesn’t my QR code scan?
The usual causes are low contrast, a light code on a dark background, a margin that is too thin or a logo that is too large. Keep a dark code on a light background, leave a margin of at least 2 modules, and print the code at least 2 cm (about 0.8 in) wide.
How much can a QR code hold?
Up to 2,953 bytes at level L, a little less at higher levels. Accented letters and non-Latin scripts take 2 to 4 bytes each. The counter under the preview shows how much room is left; the shorter the content, the easier the code is to scan.
