Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is built by your browser, on your device. Your photos are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Do my photos lose quality?

No for JPG and PNG: they are placed in the PDF exactly as they are. WebP, GIF and BMP images are converted first, with a very high quality setting.

Which page size should I choose?

A4 is the standard in most of the world and Letter in North America; both are ready to print. Image size makes each page exactly the size of its image, which suits a portfolio or a screen.

Why is a photo turned the wrong way?

The tool follows the orientation recorded by your camera. If a picture still looks wrong, turn it with the rotate buttons under its thumbnail before creating the PDF.

Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?

Not directly. Convert them to JPG first with our HEIC to JPG tool, then add them here.

Install One For All on your computer

One For All then opens in its own window, like an app, straight from your desktop or home screen. Nothing to download from a store, and your files still stay on your device.

  1. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the browser menu (⋮).
  2. Choose “Install One For All” or “Install page as app”: a shortcut is added to your desktop and your apps.

Download this tool’s engine?

This tool works entirely in your browser. To do that, it needs to download the items below from One For All, just once. They are then kept on this device, so next time the tool starts right away.

Your files are never sent anywhere.
