Frequently asked questions
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your text is never uploaded, stored or shared.
How does Title Case decide which words stay lowercase?
Short words such as articles, conjunctions and short prepositions (in English: a, the, and, of, to…) stay lowercase, except at the start or end of a line and after a colon. The list follows the language of this page, and words already written in capitals, like NASA, are kept as they are.
What is the difference between Sentence case and Title Case?
Sentence case capitalizes only the first word of each sentence, like normal writing. Title Case capitalizes the main words, as in book and article titles.
How do camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case work?
These styles join words without spaces for use in code, file names and URLs. Each line is converted separately, punctuation is removed, and existing camelCase words are split correctly, so XMLHttpRequest becomes xml_http_request in snake_case.
Does it work with accents and other alphabets?
Yes. Accented letters, Cyrillic, Greek and other alphabets with capitals are converted correctly. Capital letter rules follow the language of this page, so the Turkish version handles the dotted İ properly. Scripts without capital letters, like Arabic or Chinese, are left unchanged.
