Every image is resized on your device. Download them one by one or all together in a ZIP file.
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing make my photo blurry?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp: this tool uses the Lanczos filter, the same high-quality method found in professional photo editors, and works in linear light so colors and gradients stay true. Making an image bigger can’t add detail that isn’t there, which is why enlarging is off unless you allow it.
What do “Fill and trim” and “Fit with borders” mean?
A social network size has a fixed shape. If your photo has a different shape, “Fill and trim” covers the whole frame and trims the same amount from both edges that stick out. “Fit with borders” keeps the whole photo and fills the empty space with a color of your choice, or with transparency for PNG, WebP and AVIF.
How do I resize many photos at once?
Add all your images, choose the size once, then select Resize images. With “Keep proportions”, each photo fits inside the width and height you typed while keeping its own shape, so portrait and landscape photos can be mixed. Download them one by one or all at once in a ZIP file.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Reading, resizing and saving all happen in your browser, on your device. Your images are never sent anywhere.
Does resizing keep the photo’s EXIF data?
No. The resized file is a brand new image, so camera details, dates and GPS location are not copied into it. The photo is turned the right way up first, so it never ends up sideways.
Which format is the resized image saved in?
By default, the same format as the original: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, and so on. HEIC, GIF and BMP files are saved as JPG, or as PNG when they have transparency. You can also choose JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF yourself.
