Kept on this device only.

Your calculations will appear here, ready to reuse.

Tip: you can type with your keyboard. Enter gives the result, Backspace deletes and Esc clears.

How it works

  1. Pick a mode

Standard covers everyday sums. Scientific adds trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots and factorials. Your choice is remembered.

  2. Type your calculation

Tap the keys or use your keyboard. The result appears as you type and follows the usual order of operations.

  3. Keep and reuse results

Press = to keep the result. Carry on with Ans, store a number in memory, or pick a past calculation from the history.

Frequently asked questions

How does the % key work?

On its own, % divides by 100: 25% is 0.25. After + or −, it takes a percentage of the number before it, like a phone calculator: 50 + 10% gives 55 and 80 − 25% gives 60. After × or ÷, it is a plain percentage: 200 × 10% gives 20.

In what order are operations calculated?

Brackets first, then powers and roots, then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction: 2 + 3 × 4 = 14. A number written right before a bracket, π or a function is multiplied first, as on school calculators, so 1 ÷ 2π means 1 ÷ (2π). Missing closing brackets are added for you.

Should I use degrees or radians?

Use degrees (Deg) for everyday geometry, where a right angle is 90. Radians (Rad) are used in advanced maths and physics, where a right angle is π ÷ 2. Gradians (Grad) split a right angle into 100. The unit applies to sin, cos, tan and their inverses.

How precise are the results?

Results show up to 12 significant digits, so 0.1 + 0.2 gives 0.3 and sin(180°) gives exactly 0. Ans keeps the full precision for the next step. Very large or very small numbers switch to scientific notation, such as 1.5E15 for 1.5 × 10¹⁵.

What do Ans, EE and the memory keys do?

Ans is the last result. EE types a power of ten: 3 EE 5 is 3 × 10⁵. M+ adds the current result to the memory, M− subtracts it, MR inserts the stored number and MC clears it. The memory and your last 50 calculations stay on this device, in your browser, and are never sent anywhere.

Can I use my keyboard?

Yes. Type digits and + − * / ^ ( ) ! %, press Enter or = for the result, Backspace to delete and Esc to clear everything. You can also type function names such as sin, cos, ln or sqrt.

Install One For All on your computer

One For All then opens in its own window, like an app, straight from your desktop or home screen. Nothing to download from a store, and your files still stay on your device.

  1. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the browser menu (⋮).
  2. Choose “Install One For All” or “Install page as app”: a shortcut is added to your desktop and your apps.

Download this tool’s engine?

This tool works entirely in your browser. To do that, it needs to download the items below from One For All, just once. They are then kept on this device, so next time the tool starts right away.
